During week 44, 2025, we are launching a new feature in Flex HRM that will simplify your administration and save you time. Please read the information below to understand how the new automation will work.
To make your administration more efficient, we are introducing an automation. From now on, a user's connection to Visma Connect will be automatically removed when an employment is terminated. The purpose is to save time and reduce manual work, while ensuring that access to the system is always correct for your employees.
Since logging in to Flex HRM is done via Visma Connect, this change will eventually affect all our customers.
How it works
The feature is directly linked to the security setting you already have today: "Deactivate account x days after terminated employment". When an employee's employment end date has passed and the specified number of days for deactivation has expired, the system will automatically remove the connection to Visma Connect.
What do you need to do?
To help you benefit from this automation as smoothly as possible, we make it easy for you.
- If you already use automatic deactivation:
You don't need to do anything. The process is handled completely automatically. The system's default setting is that an account is deactivated five days after the employment ends. If you have specified a different number of days, in the security setting or in user templates, those settings will apply. - For already deactivated users:
Users whose accounts are already deactivated when the feature is launched are not affected automatically. For these, you need to use the "Remove connection" button to remove the connection manually. - For manual deactivation:
If you manually deactivate a user directly in the user registry, the connection to Visma Connect will not be removed automatically. In these cases, you need to use the "Remove connection" button to terminate the access manually.
A tip for recurring employments
Do you have employees who return at regular intervals? Then it might be practical to create a separate user template for these users now. In the template, you can specify a higher number of days for deactivation, so that the user keeps their Visma Connect connection for a longer period between employments, and you avoid having to reactivate it manually.
