We are now introducing two new data sources in the Report Generator: Car Trip and Vehicle Type. This update gives you entirely new possibilities to create detailed and customized reports for all types of car journeys managed in Flex HRM—whether it's travel with a private car, company car, or benefit car.
Why is this important for you?
For you as a Finance Manager, HR Manager, or administrator, this means a significantly better overview and control of the company's travel-related costs. You can now easily analyze detailed data to make well-informed decisions. By combining these new data sources, you can, for example:

Create reports specifying mileage, travel routes, and odometer readings for specific vehicles or employees.

Get a clear overview of which locations and customers are visited most frequently.

Analyze the basis for car allowances and any supplements.
Detailed information at your disposal
The new Car Trip data source gives you access to all relevant fields from a travel claim, such as the trip's start and end time, purpose, point of departure, destination, and route information.
The Vehicle Type data source contains information about the different vehicle types you have defined in the system, such as name, type, and whether it is used with a benefit or allowance. Please note that the Vehicle Type data source can only be combined with the Car Trip data source to ensure the information is relevant.
Here's how to get started:
The new data sources are now available to select in the Report Generator when you create or edit a report.

Go to the Report Generator in the menu.

Create a new report or edit an existing one.

In the list of available data sources, you will now find Car Trip and Vehicle Type.

Select the fields you want to include to build the exact report you need.
