To further streamline administration and save our customers' time, we are currently developing a new, requested solution in Flex HRM Travel. In the near future, we plan to launch an API endpoint that will enable automated updates of average fuel prices. The solution is particularly aimed at our partners, payroll agencies, and larger companies looking to enhance their efficiency.
The Goal: Less manual work and increased precision
We know that manually updating average fuel prices can be a time-consuming and repetitive task, with an inherent risk of data entry errors. Our goal in automating this process is to free up valuable time for administrators and ensure that fuel benefit calculations are always based on accurate and current data.
How it's planned to work
The upcoming solution will be useful for companies that use Average price for calculation of fuel benefit, a setting configured in the Settings > Travel > Car trips> General view.
Via the new API, external systems will be able to submit and update prices for specific vehicle types and date ranges. The information will then be updated directly in the price list found under Settings > Travel > Car journeys > Vehicle types, eliminating the need for manual entry.
