<span id="hs_cos_wrapper_name" class="hs_cos_wrapper hs_cos_wrapper_meta_field hs_cos_wrapper_type_text" style="" data-hs-cos-general-type="meta_field" data-hs-cos-type="text" >New Report Data Source: Analyze Absence with Greater Precision</span>

We are excited to launch the new Absence data source in the Report Generator. This new feature makes it easier to create customized reports on all types of absence, including sick leave. The data source is designed to give you more control and deeper insights, allowing you to analyze absence data exactly as you need.

Valuable Insights and Flexible Reports

With the Absence data source, you can easily extract a wide range of data to get a clear overview. For example, you can quickly find out how many absence periods an employee has had in the past year or see what percentage of sick leave is short-term absence.

This new data source can also be combined with the existing Employees data source. This allows you to create more detailed reports and make selections based on, for example, department, gender, or age.

Fields and Selections in the New Data Source

In the first version of the Absence data source, the following fields are available for reports and selections:

  • Total days in absence period (workdays)

  • Total days in absence period (calendar days)

  • Total hours of absence

  • Day in absence period (workdays)

  • Day in absence period (calendar days)

  • Date

  • Reason for absence

  • From time

  • From time (incl. end-of-day character)

  • Absence period in date selection

  • First date in absence period

  • Scope

  • Scheduled time (hours)

  • Scheduled time full-time (hours)

  • Last date in absence period

  • To time

  • To time (incl. end-of-day character)

Account for Re-illness

Another important function is the ability to account for re-illness. By activating this setting in the report selection, the system will treat multiple absence periods as a single period if an employee becomes ill again within five days. This is useful for generating accurate statistics that align with how qualifying days are calculated.
