It is now easier to ensure correct compensation for Standby duty in accordance with your collective agreements. We are introducing a new setting in Flex HRM's Standby regulation that is especially valuable for customers with shift-working personnel. Many agreements require higher compensation when standby duty falls on an employee's scheduled day off, regardless of the day of the week.
The New Feature: "Only generated on days off"
We have added a clear new checkbox in the Standby regulation called "Only generated on days off". This setting solves the challenge of correctly managing standby compensation for employees with complex schedules, where a day off can fall on any weekday.
How it works in the system
By default, the "Only generated on days off" checkbox is set to false. When you activate this checkbox, the specific standby rule will only be applied if the employee's Scheduled Time for the current day is 0. The system interprets a day as a day off if there is no planned scheduled time for the employee.
The Value for You, the Customer
This update reduces the administrative burden by automating an otherwise complex process. By easily configuring these rules in the Standby regulation, you ensure that compensation is always correct according to applicable agreements, saving you time and minimizing the risk of incorrect payments.
